Here are the features of Notepad++ :
This is my favourite text editor. Heaps of features, crosses many dev languages, powerful, extendable, and you can’t beat the price. Only 1 downside is that it is for Windows only.
Awesome editor, and very versatile. If you are thinking about Dreamweaver or Frontpage… forget it. Been there done that. nothing beats this little guy. Quick to load, excelent color and style selection. It’s not a wisiwyg per se. Yet those big and expensive guys can’t always show exactly what the outcome will be. This guy can… why? …. cause you test it in your favorite browser, e.g. i.e., ffox, ns, etc. One last thing the lock to compare files is I think the best feature of all. When I copy and edit a pg or a css or js, I want to know what in the heck i did wrong, sometimes, this feature is as powerful as gold.
My only recomendation is that they put a box, like yahoo or google in the menu to search for a particular word instad of having to click on find or replace.
Overall it’s a Super Duper Deal. Specially for the price. G_d Bless its creators!!!
