KohanaPHP is an open source web application framework for PHP
Originally a fork of the CodeIgniter framework. It is a PHP5 based framework, with the aim to be secure, lightweight, strict PHP5 OOP and easy to use. Control of KohanaPHP is with the community rather than commercial control. The framework uses the MVC pattern, is 100% UTF-8 compatible, and has a loosely coupled architecture.
